Each skein is 100g in weight & contains 212m of yarn.
 
This merino yak silk blend is gorgeous to work with. Super soft, with a lovely shine. Good stitch definition and a nice drape. The combination of merino and silk is perfect for keeping you warm in the cooler weather, and the yak provides an extra layer of depth to the colours, and an extra warmth. Perfect for any garments worn next to the skin.
 
This is a superwash yarn, but we always recommend hand washing to be certain items will stay in tip top condition. Keep the water cool and dry flat to help garments keep their shape.
 
Each skein is hand dyed in my home in North Wales. We are smoke free, but we do have a dog, although he's not generally allowed to play with the yarn! I use professional acid dyes which are fixed and thoroughly rinsed. Please note though that some colour bleed may occur on the first wash, especially with darker colours.
 
All skeins are dyed in small batches and I cannot guarantee the colour will be exactly from batch to batch. Please purchase enough to finish your project. If there is not sufficient quantity listed please get in touch. Most of my colourways are repeatable & can be dyed for you in a larger batch should you require it. It is advisable to alternated skeins within a project to minimise any differences between skeins, even from the same batch.
 
I try my best to get colours accurate but please do allow a little leeway for monitor and screen differences.
