Mountain pass shawl pattern; seen from high up, the mountain ranges of North Snowdonia stack one after another. Peaks and troughs making patterns of light and shade.
A simple top down triangle shawl knitted with 200g of 4 ply yarn. The main body of this shawl is knitted in stocking stitch, simple and rhythymic. The mountain ranges are created with rows of simple lace, building one on top of another to create interest and texture without needing too much counting.
The sample shown here used two 100g skeins of our merino, yak, silk blend. This is a luxury blend, soft, warm, and with a superb drape. The colourway shown here is crimson, but other colourways are available.
Please note; this is for a paper pattern, in a4 format, which you will receive through the post. If you would prefer a pdf copy, these patterns are available on ravelry.
