Shattered slate shawl; inspired by the many slate walls I see around me during my dog walks. Slate naturally splits and fractures, leaving lines of darker shadows on the blocks making them almost stripey.
This is a chunky cosy shawl, with options for 100g or 200g of dk yarn. Peach sample is knitted in a merino bamboo yarn in a semi-solid colourway named peach kiss. Purple sample is knitted in a pure bfl wool in a solid colourway named damson. This pattern uses easy knit and purl rows, interspersed with rows of drop stitch, to create a textured shawl that is easy to produce.
Listing is for a paper pattern, in an a4 format, which will be posted out to you. If you would rather have a pdf copy that you can print at home, these patterns can be found on my ravelry shop. Due to the nature of VAT rules relating to digital purchases I am unable to sell pdf patterns through this wesite.
I'm exhibiting at Buxton Wool Gathering this weekend - stock levels will return to normal on Monday.
