A gorgeous soft green, dyed on a 4ply merino silk base, soft, with a beautiful sheen and a wonderful drape. Perfect for anything that needs to be next to the skin, or anything that you really want to keep you warm! The combination of merino and silk is one of the best for keeping warmth in.

This is a repeatable colourway, this can be dyed to order if you need more than are listed.

Although these are all the same batch numbers, it's advisable to alternate the skeins if you're working on a multi-skein project. This just helps to minimise any differences in the colour variation pattern between the skeins.

The base is 50% superwash merino wool, 50% silk.

There are several patterns available in the shop which work well with this yarn, including the shattered slate shawl.

Hand dyed in small batches in my home in north wales. Each skein is fixed with acid & thoroughly rinsed, however, some colour bleed may occur on the first rinse, especially with deeper colours. This is a superwash yarn, but I always recommend hand washing woollens to ensure that they stay the same shape they were when you made them! Use a small amount of gentle detergent, such as liquid soap or a specific wool wash to keep them in tip top condition. Be gently, don't wring the yarn or scrub it too hard.
